Bio: A 20 year veteran of Discovery Communications, Elliot oversees Discovery's global international content sales business and manages a vast global sales and operations team. He is responsible for the company’s free & pay television, new media (VOD/OTT), format, theatric, institutional, and private network sales of programming from Discovery’s portfolio of global channel brands which 69��ý an industry leading catalog of 8,000 premiere hours per year and 300,000 library hours. In this role Elliot also spearheads content acquisition and co-financing with a global network of production companies for Discovery Global Enterprises’ worldwide distribution. In addition, he is responsible for Discovery’s two Canadian joint venture partnerships, consisting of 9 channels, including all linear, digital and trademark licensing. He currently sits on the board of directors for Discovery Canada.
