Venture to Volunteer (V2V) is聽a multi-day experience for first-year and transfer students that blends non-profit service with exploration of DC neighborhoods, history and culture. This event has previously been known as Explore DC (EDC).

It's a chance to get to know your new city -聽from learning the logistical ropes (like transportation and food), to engaging with issues faced by community members (and the ways they're making a difference), to first-hand experience of DC's聽rich cultural, historical and community resources. A long-time AU tradition, it's part of AU All 69传媒 Welcome and聽sponsored by CLCE. There's no better way to start life at AU!

Participants moved in early, and participated in their four days of programming.

• August 16聽- Move-in and check-in for Venture to Volunteer.
• August 17聽- Welcome Ceremony and community visits with their group
• August 18聽- Students participated in their service activity
